Vacutex® Dryers

The Vacutex® system - a PAGENDARM invention and patented design - is equipped with venturi jet nozzles, arranged on both sides of an idle roll.
The venturi effect produces a low pressure by which the web is drawn down, thereby increasing the contact arc on the idle roll.
Combined with the SPEED-STAR® technology the return flow of the upper and lower air is discharged between the nozzles – either straight vertical up or straight vertical down –
there are absolutely no lateral air flows between the nozzles.
Accordingly there is no edge flutter and even sensitive materials maintain their perfect web stability in a wide operating window.
The Vacutex® system is suitable for almost all types of substrates, e.g. films of various types, papers, nonwovens, tissue, fabrics, foils, etc.
