The Organisation of wifag//polytype
wifag//polytype is devided into two divisions, named „Systems“ and „Trading“.
The „Systems“ division consists of six business units:
- Metal Packaging: manufacturing equipment for steel and aluminium aerosol cans, aluminium bottles and -tubes
- Plastic Containers: printing equipment for plastic containers and -caps
- Plastic Tubes: printing equipment for plastic tubes
- Printing Presses: large and mid size printing lines for newspapers and books
- Digital Printing: large size digital printers for rolled goods and plates from solid materials like glass, wood, stone, plastics, etc.
- Coating & Laminating: manufacturing equipment for multilayer films and papers
The division „Trading“ is one of the leading trading companies in the printing and publishing industry and holds the exclusive distribution rights of numerous A-brands.
Having approximately 1000 employees, wifag//polytype is globally represented with own sales-, service-, and manufacturing entities in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Belgium, USA, Thailand, Brazil, China/Hongkong, and India.
