DWI - Draw & Wall Ironing

Besides to the clear commitment to our core expertise in impact extrusion the company has decided to break another historic frontier:

to be the first supplier to offer both classic impact extrusion as well as Draw & Wall ironing technology for the manufacture of aerosol cans and beverage bottles.

Contrary to the impact extrusion process where a hollow body is formed out of a slug by one stroke, in DWI process a cup is punched out of a metal coil, either alu or steel. If you have high lot sizes, less shapes per line and would like to save material, you should go for a DWI line. And this is the brand new additional option:

to also manufacture monobloc aerosol cans made of steel.
